"The Morning After" was inspired by one of those days when everything feels a little off - until something small turns it around. I painted this piece after a morning that started in slow motion, coffee in hand, not quite ready to face the day. But life has a way of surprising us - sometimes with laughter, sometimes with warmth. The bear, bee, and butterfly remind me that even on weary mornings, joy can find its way in. Through soft light and warm tones, I wanted to capture that simple truth: one tiny spark can shift everything, bringing back color, courage, and a smile.
