“Shared Silence” was inspired by a moment that felt almost like a promise. Hummingbirds are usually fierce and solitary, always moving, always defending. But as I painted these two resting side by side, I imagined the rare harmony that can appear where rivalry usually lives. This piece reflects my fascination with those quiet alignments in nature that mirror our own longing for peace, connection and a place to belong.
